FACTE Represents...

FACTE represents the 34 colleges and universities in Florida that have State approved teacher education programs, as well as 11 community colleges that serve in partnerships with us to prepare teachers. Our mission is to proactively advocate policies and practices in teacher preparation that promote student learning in Florida’s classrooms. In this effort we seek to align our organization’s policy objectives with other educational organizations, State education agencies and the Florida legislature. Through advocacy and leadership we serve the educational community of our State, and most importantly the P-20 students in our classrooms.
